Weather Closure Policy

In the event of inclement weather, we will assess the conditions and determine whether to cancel or reschedule classes. Below is our Weather Closing Policy to ensure clear communication and fair treatment for all involved.

1. Weather-Related Closures

  • Classes During the Week: If severe weather conditions pose a safety risk, we will follow the Wappingers Central School District closing schedule as a guideline. If the district closes schools due to weather, we will likely cancel our classes for that day or evening. In cases of extreme weather conditions, we may close even if the school district remains open.

 

2. Communication of Closures

To ensure our customers are well-informed, we will communicate any class cancellations or rescheduling promptly using the following channels:

  • Email: A cancellation email will be sent to all registered participants at least two hours before the scheduled class time. Please ensure your email address is up to date in our system.

  • Social Media: We will post closure information on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) as soon as possible. Please follow us to stay informed.

 

3. Makeup Policy

If a class is cancelled due to weather, we do not issue refunds. However, we will offer the following:

  • Makeup Classes: We will work to reschedule the cancelled class at the earliest opportunity. Participants will be notified of new dates and times for the makeup session.

  • Rescheduling: If you are unable to attend the rescheduled makeup class, we encourage you to transfer your spot to a future class. You will have the option to apply your payment to another class of equal or lesser value.
