Ingredients
1 lb whole wheat spaghetti
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
4 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
Parmesan cheese for serving
Preparation
Step 1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 3. Add cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook until tomatoes are soft and release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 4. Toss cooked spaghetti with the tomato sauce and fresh basil.
Step 5. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
